If you went to the trouble of watching all three parts of that then you might want to consider what wikipedia has to say. It was a huge battle. Over a million casualties. The Germans were practicing what they called Kesselschlacht or cauldron battle. The Soviets were practicing their ability to absorb the blitzkrieg.
