Vegoose - 1st annual music festival held at the UNLV football stadium, went off last weekend. There were 4 stages, one inside of the stadium and 3 set up in a large field area out side of the stadium. All in all it was a cool set up b/c you could roam from stage to stage as you liked. One major blunder was putting the hip-hop stage in a tent severely limiting the number of people who could watch or even hear the music from that stage. Music highlights included: Beck - I heard they rocked, I unfortunately was at another stage and missed them; Talib Kweli - awesome; Flaming Lips - very interactive performance. Great music, great people, good times.
