Iraq. A look back
Larry Diamond went to Baghdad for the Bush administration. He wasn't impressed. Read his take here. This guy is co-editor of something called the Democracy journal.
This reason I bring this guy up is that someday when Bush no longer has control there need's to be an accounting of WTF went on during the run up to and the aftermath of the War in Iraq. I have to say that so far Bush has gotten a lot more from the American people than he or his father ever gave us. The thought occured to me that it is not inconveivable now that the revulsion of the previously hypmotized right wingers could result in Bush being voulenteered by the US to the World Court to be brought up on War Crimes charges for cherry picking bad intelligence, knowingly.

If there is ever an accounting for the runup to the war, it will be in the court of history.
