The New Pornographers might have just written the album of the summer. Of "06 because were a little late this year and this album is f_ing amazing. There is no other way to say it. Seriously. F__. Okay look at these people. They look like wonderful normal people like the Pixies. Also they are from Vancouver which is an awesome town with no great bands springing to mind. Wild. If anyone can think of some great Vancouver bands please give me the 411 because I am drawing a total blank. So do something real download "use it" or I'll find and hurt you.
"Grizzly man" was one of the scariest documentaries I've seen since "American Movie".
I had many questions that probably might have kept me from seeing this one but I got a free ticket to the screening. My point is that I could have walked out anytime but I was glued to my seat. Verner Herzog shows great tenderness for his subject and in the end that saves everyone in the film. Except of course the guy and his girlfriend who get eaten. But you're supposed to know that already because it was in the news. Okay....
