Snorkelers paradise

This blog is long neglected but never forgotten. I post therefore I am.  Ok.  The island below is another product of the seemingly boundless energy of the Chinese military

 engineering sector.  They seem to have in increasingly muscular ability to shape the environment in which they are engaged.  Why don't we get some Philippine and Vietnamese islands up in there as well? What could go wrong?  Seriously that's probably a terrible idea as for me: I for one would like to vacation there.  It looks like a gosh darned snorkelers paradise.
