Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey

This is one big expensive over due over budget project. 30 soldiers died testing it in a single accident in Marana Arizona in 2000. And there were other accidents.

But watch this thing take off. It moves very fast. The power of the engines is stunning.
It appears that through years of engineering they may have made something exceptional in modern aviation. An innovation that we now posses and our adversaries do not. Consider my fingers crossed that it turns out to be a safe reliable bird.

....But it's going to Iraq where it will probably be a bullet magnet. And it will end up like everything else that touches Iraq, an incredible disappointment.
